Tips to Speed up Computer

If a computer is not properly maintained after a fresh install of Operating System, it?s speed will start getting slower with time and usage. I am going to explain some of the most important sources of the issue and their solutions.

• Speed of computer gets slower most of the times due to some crashes in registry files. This happens when someone directly deletes installed software or some of its files from program files or some other installed location rather than properly uninstalling from Add or Remove feature. It will slow down your computer. This issue can be solved by using a registry cleaner software. I recommend Kasper-sky Internet Security or Bit-defender Total Security which includes all the system maintenance tools. Scan your computer on scheduled intervals to make its performance better.
• Another factor which becomes the source of system slow down is the presence of a malicious software, virus, spyware or other similar threat. This may affect your system by downloading some untrusted software from internet, an infected USB or CD/DVD source, etc. Therefore, whenever you install a fresh copy of windows, first of all install the security software and scan.
• While installing most of the software, there are some types of toolbar or other small applications which prompt to install with the other application. Try to avoid installing such toolbar or applications or manually uninstall them from your control panel. These are also one of the sources of system slowdown.
• Schedule a disk cleanup or disk defragment scan or do this manually. This option also helps in system maintenance.
• If you are using some gadgets or other enhancements applications other than the built in applications with genuine windows, try to avoid them because these applications use extra memory and slow down system.
• Keep on deleting temporary internet files weekly or on some other scheduled basis, delete cookies and get maximum Internet speed and other applications launching speed as well.
